For those wishing to more deeply embody Soul Motion in their work, spiritual practice, and everyday dance, we are happy to offer another opportunity for intensive study with Vinn Martì, Zuza Engler, and associate faculty by participating in the 2014/15 Soul Motion™ Leadership Program.
Individuals can take this program with the intention of enhancing their leadership skills in whatever field of service, personal or professional, they are currently engaged. Or they may feel called to enter the process of becoming a certified Soul Motion teacher.

In addition to the three residential modules that constitute the training part of the curriculum, the program requires extensive study and practice of Soul Motion in classes and workshops, community service, and for those seeking certification also a teaching practicum, evaluation, and mentoring. The dates of the 2014–2015 residential modules are:

The participant selection process will be based on candidates’ movement experience and community service, their written application, and our assessment of their readiness for this course. In other words, please be aware that fulfillment of all prerequsites does not guarantee acceptance to the program.
The group will go through the program as a cohort beginning in the Spring of 2013 and ending in the Spring of 2014. A stillness or silence practice is an essential qualification for effective teaching of Soul Motion. In order to keep the channel open, a practice of not doing or thinking allows the space of silence to inform the teaching. We emphasize the importance of making this a regular practice for anyone considering the Soul Motion Leadership path.
Whether you have chosen the Personal and Professional Development Program or the Teacher Certification track, our 2013–2014 curriculum will consist of three residential modules (two seven day and one ten-day module) at the Madrona MindBody Institute in Port Townsend, WA. Attendance at all sessions is required. Vinn Martì and Zuza Engler will co-lead this program with the assistance of Michael Molin- Skelton. In addition, visiting faculty will include Candace Verlee Scheidegger and Lavinia Magliocco.
Those whose interest lies in working toward Teacher Certification will become Soul Motion apprentices and offer a series of Soul Motion–inspired classes in their own communities. As part of an active mentoring program, candidates for certification will be witnessed and offered feedback by Vinn and Zuza as they lead practice classes with their fellow trainee group and/or the invited public during the residential modules.
